For the right eye: no optic‑disc oedema, relatively blurred disc margins, pale optic disc, fovea centralis barely identifiable, arteriovenous ratio 1:4.
After treatment: Funduscopic findings improved compared with admission: the fundus changed from pale white on admission to light red; the bilateral arteriovenous ratio improved from 1:4 at admission to 1:2.
