After the 2nd stem cell treatment for ROP, I went from being able to see a pen just 30cm in front of me to now being able to see my family at a distance of 2-3m!

1 year later, Maria Del Milagro returned to Wu Medical Center for a second round of stem cell + CAST treatment. She experienced further repair of her retina, leading to an improvement in her visual function. She can now see a pen at a distance of 30 centimeters in front of her and is able to see her family at 2-3 meters away. She can also distinguish shades of color. Her family is very excited and believes that with the enhancement of stem cell functions and the repair of her retina, she will continue to make further progress in her visual abilities!
