Before treatment:
Saphira felt numb in her lower limbs in September 2011, she couldn’t move her lower limbs, so she went to hospital and did MRI, MRI showed there was internal blood in T4-7, so she had a surgery. The second day of surgery, she felt part of her lower limbs’ function were better, so she did another MRI, the result showed there were some blood coagulum and the size was around 1-2cm. she received rehabilitation training in 3 years, included keep sitting position and turn over body. She uses a wheelchair right now, she is unable to take care of herself. She is able to turn over, sit up and mover herself from bed to chair with her upper limbs, she is able to keep in sitting position. Her lower limbs have no automatic action. She is unable to stand or walk.
Her spirit and diets were good, her sleeps were normal. She had part feeling of urination and defecation, but she was unable to control them. She used diapers. She defecated once in 1-3 days.

Admission PE:
Bp: 115/75mmHg; Hr: 75/min. She has a normal and nourish figure. There was no yellow stain or petechia on mucous membrane. There was a 10 cm scar at the back. The coalescence is good and no ulcer. No abnormal in the face and head. Her pharyngeal was not congestive. The tonsil has no congestion. The thorax is symmetrical. The respiratory sound of lungs is clear without dry or moist rales. The heart rate is regular and heart sounds are strong. The heart beat 75/min. There was no obvious murmur in the valves. The abdomen is flat and soft without obvious masses. The liver and spleen were normal under palpate touch. The legs have no edema.

Nervous System Examination:
Saphira was alert and her speech was fluent. Her memory, calculation and orientation abilities were normal. Both pupils were equal in size and round, the diameter was 3.0 mms, both eyeballs could move freely. Both eyes had sensitive response to light stimuli. The forehead wrinkle pattern was symmetrical. The tongue was centered in the oral cavity and the teeth were shown without deflection. The neck moved normally. She could shrug her shoulders normally. The muscle strength of arms was level 5. The muscle strength of legs was level 0. The toes have mild movement. The muscle tone of four limbs was normal. The tendon reflex of arms and legs is normal and Achilles's tendon reflex cannot be elicited. The bilateral abdominal reflex was normal. Examination of sensory system: superficial sensibility: above T5 the sensibility was normal. The left side T6 sensibility reduced 50-70%. Right side below T6 sensibility reduced 30-40%; deep sensibility: skin topesthesia is normal. Below hip the vibrational sensation reduced 30%;  recombination sensation: sensation of shape was normal.
Bilateral Hoffmann sign, Rossilimo sign were negative. Bilateral palm-jaw reflex was normal. Bilateral Babinski sign was positive. Bilateral ankle clonus was negative. Bilateral coordination of upper limbs is normal. Heel-shin-knee test cannot be performed because of the muscle strength of legs.

Treatment:
After admission, the diagnosis of Spinal Cord Injury was confirmed. She received 3 neural stem cell injections and 3 mesenchymal stem cell injections to repair her damaged nerves, replace her dead nerves with new stem cells, active stem cells in her body, nourish neurons, improve blood circulation, improver her immune system accompanied with daily physical rehabilitation.

Post-treatment:
After 14 days’ treatment, patient’s condition has improved. Sensory examinations:Superficial sensibility: left side T6 reduced 30%, right side below T6 reduced 20%. Deep sensibility: below hip vibrational sensation reduced 20%. Movement function has improved. The muscle strength of legs improved 2 levels. The feet and legs were able to sway left and right. She was able to move toes.
