The dream of 11-year-old ROP boy came true: to see the world!

Aaron, is a smart and handsome 11-year-old Argentine boy, but for some reason he was forced to be given birth early at 28 weeks with respiratory problems and was diagnosed with ROP a month and a half after birth.

When Aaron came to Wu Medical Center with his parents for the stem cell treatment in 2019.
He had no reaction to light of both eyes.
There was only light perception present for his both eyes.

After 14 days treatment in Wu Medical Center,
His vision got better.
He was now able to discern fingers and the size of objects in front of him
He could avoid objects by himself when walking.

About three months after Aaron returned home his mother posted a video on Facebook that Aaron could see his family, see the location of the cup, and identify the colors (https://www.facebook.com/porunaluzparaAaron/videos/526471487898224). Everyone was thrilled.

A year after treatment,
Aaron can play golf accompanied by his family.
Aaron can play basketball alone.
Aaron always takes an active part in any possible activities.

Aaron's family and friends worked with Dr. Wu’s team to help the “little broken-winged angel” fulfill his first dream in his life which was to see the world! We believe that Aaron will fulfill more colorful dreams in his life in the future. We hope this little angel will fly higher and faster!
