Mr. Li-Ke Wu, MD, Ph.D, the founder of Wu Medical Center, is one of the pioneers in the world with regards to using stem cells to treat patients with various difficult-to-treat medical conditions. During the course of his more than 30 years of clinical experience in neurology and internal medicine, he’s treated more than 30,000 patients. His laboratory research in stem cell started in 1987 and extended to clinical applications in late 90’s. The clinical stem cell technologies he invented include autologous stem cell activation, intracorporeal cell control and targeted localization.

These unique and advanced technologies have allowed Dr. Wu and his medical team to treat more than 7,000 patients with excellent outcome since the year 2000, representing a breakthrough progress in treating degenerative neurological diseases (motor neuron disease, Parkinson's disease, dementia and Friedreich ataxia, etc.) , nerve injuries (brain trauma, spinal cord injury and cerebral stroke, etc.), abnormal neurodevelopment(cerebral palsy, epilepsy and autism, etc.), certain type of eye diseases (retinal/macular/diseases/optic nerve diseases) and internal diseases (diabetes and renal insufficiency, etc) and bone/joint diseases.

Dr. Wu also published more than 40 papers and articles in various professional medical science journals.

Dr. Wang is Associate Director and the Head Neurologist of the WSCMC. She is one of the China's most experienced researchers of stem cell treatment technology. She has learned from Professor Chunyan Li, the only neurology science academician in China and an expert of cerebrovascular disease. Dr. Wang has successfully treated cerebrovascular disease, neuro-degenerative diseases (such as Parkinson's Disease, Dementia, etc), and demyelinating diseases (such as MS, optic neuritis, etc).
